Setup

Your free account

What Trace keeps
Never your AO3 or FFN password
You stay signed in to the archives as normal. Trace never asks for, sees, or stores those logins.
No story text is kept
Trace records metadata, progress, status, and your own notes. It does not store the fic itself.
Only on the pages it needs
The extension runs on supported AO3 and FFN pages plus Trace account pages, not arbitrary browsing.
No ads, no trackers, nothing sold
Your library is not for sale.
