About the author

Trace is made by a single developer — me! In a feat of consistency that out-shadows all other areas of my life, I have been reading and writing fanfiction for almost two decades now. This site is a labour of love that has been in the works for a few years now. It started as a project to help me keep track of the thousands of stories I read, and evolved into something I hope will be useful to others too.

Trace is still in beta. If you run into issues, have feature requests, ideas, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

My goal is to build a robust tool that can last throughout another two decades of reading fanfiction. I have ideas for the future to improve it even more; we’ll see what happens...
